December - February

Wintertime brings the cooler weather to the country. Temperatures (typically) averaging between 58 - 68 degrees with December being the coldest month where evening temperatures can drop in the 40`s in the north. Winter is low season for accommodations and attractions.

Popular activities this time of year are the country`s Hot Springs, with over 150 springs offered throughout the country. The southern beaches still remain warm in the winter and the water is still comfortable enough to swim. Things start to get busy again during the Chinese New Year when accommodations sell out way in advance as the country prepares for its big end of year celebrations.
